The Challenge

As Business Development Manager at Griaule, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and strengthening relationships with customers and partners. Your work will directly contribute to the company's growth by helping organizations take advantage of our cutting-edge biometric solutions. In this role, you will work with a wide range of sectors, identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met with the best biometric technology solutions available. This position requires strategic vision, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and qualifying new sales leads
  • Scheduling meetings and presentations with potential clients
  • Creating, planning and presenting presentations on the company's products
  • Frequently visit and develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and clients
  • Record all sales activities in the company's CRM system and keep it updated with account information
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-structured pipeline of prospects
  • Reaching and/or surpassing established targets
  • Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in business development, sales or related roles in the software industry
  • Proven experience in sales to the public sector, including knowledge of tender processes, compliance requirements and government contracts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively
  • Familiarity with software development technology, processes and methodologies
  • Analytical profile, with the ability to carry out competition analysis, qualify projects and turn insights into practical strategies
  • Excellent collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
  • Willing to travel as required
  • Advanced English proficiency

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Previous experience in sales to the public sector
