Brazilian Army
Since 2021, Griaule has provided a complete set of integrated solutions for the biometric issuance of military identification documents. There are 800,000 active and retired military personnel registered and 70,000 new registrations every year. The solution has enabled the Brazilian Army to increase security in the issuance of identification documents, reducing fraud, and also enabling digital registration and the provision of technology for smartphones, facilitating digital identity.
State of Bahia
Thanks to the implementation of biometric recognition offered by Griaule, the government of Bahia has been able to combat identity fraud and ensure the safety of the population through criminal identification searches. This is because Griaule's software recognizes faces, fingerprints, and latents, which are fragments of fingerprints found at crime scenes, and also offers a mobile application for identifying operations in the field. Virtually the entire population of the state - 14 million people - is registered, and 32,000 biometric searches are performed per day.
