On February 5, 2026, Griaule was featured on national television on TV Globo's Bom Dia Santa Catarina program. The report presented a survey on three months of issuance of the National Identity Card, the CIN, in Santa Catarina.

During nearly four minutes of live broadcasting, the program explained the importance of facial recognition to the population, highlighted the benefits of the technology for security and civil identification, and mentioned Griaule by name.
